RKY Program-Drug Rehabilitation Center

RKY Program

Therapy for addicts is divided into three general processes: the development of motivation, detoxification, and rehabilitation. Not just once you hear addicts want to quit, but if you hear it, it was too early to bring addicts into rehab before the desire that motivated a strong foundation. In this phase, the development of motivation directed to self-belief that they could quit. And when the addict is ready, begin to phase detoxification (cleansing of toxins). Generally, the effects of addiction will appear 6 -8 hours after last use of drugs. First 24 hours is a tough period and it reached its peak after 48 hours. 72 hours after last use, the effects of addiction will be reduced to a minimum. And within a week addiction effect was lost. Next is the most important phase: rehabilitation. Key Rehabilitation Yogyakarta (RKY) rests on two major joints, the primary program and re-entry program. What is meant by primary program consists of several phases: the orientation phase is the preparatory stage for clients to explore and understand the rehabilitation program arranged KEY. The first two weeks is the time provided for each client to decide whether he will be one resident or not. Adolescent phase occurred 1-2 months and every resident was given the opportunity to study the book deemed worthy KEY Little Key. During this phase, residents demanded honesty and discipline to follow all the programs, rules, sanctions will be given for each violation and each performance will receive a prize (award) is appropriate. Resident is permitted to receive visits and calls from family members who are registered under the supervision of staff. In the younger phase of each resident will be a young friend for a new resident and they were allowed to leave home for 1-4 hours with the supervision of a senior and allowed to visit the family for 4-12 hours with a companion. Adult phase of each resident must take responsibility and duty on certain work functions within the KEY. They allowed ambulatio from nursing for 8 hours and allowed to visit the family for 24 hours with staff supervision. The program re-entry is the last phase in RKY when residents finalize confidence, purpose and direction of life, responsibility, problem-solving skills, understanding of the duties and obligations in society. The detailed program RKY we described above can be seen with the division of stages below:
